Dr. Nurhashim Haron is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon currently practicing at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital 2 and KPJ Tawakkal Specialist Hospital in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He obtained his Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of St. Andrews and his MBChB from the University of Manchester. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and holds a Master of Surgery from the University of Malaya. He completed his Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery in Malaysia and further advanced his training with a Fellowship in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery at the internationally renowned ICENI Centre in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Haron has extensive experience in both public and private sectors, with a special interest in minimally invasive colorectal procedures and colorectal cancer surgery. In addition to his clinical practice, he is actively involved in academic medicine and surgical education, serving as a visiting lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA. He regularly conducts educational sessions and awareness campaigns on colorectal health, including community outreach initiatives and public seminars.

He is registered as a specialist in General and Colorectal Surgery with the Malaysian National Specialist Register and is a respected figure in the local surgical community. Dr. Haron continues to contribute to the advancement of colorectal surgery in Malaysia through his commitment to high-quality patient care, surgical training, and public education.
