Dr. Jeziel Ordoñez Dr. Jeziel Ordoñez earned her medical degree from Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City and completed her General Surgery residency at Hospital Juárez de México, where she served as Chief Resident. She is now a resident in the Colorectal Surgery program at Hospital General de México.
Dr. Ordoñez is a candidate member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS), the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), and the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP).
She grew up in northern Mexico City with her parents, two sisters, and a brother. Her experiences as a junior surgeon in a country with diverse social and economic challenges have shaped her perspective, and she sees her career as an ongoing journey.
