Dr. Kristy Mansour Dr. Kristy Mansour is a General Surgery Registrar currently undertaking the General Surgery Education and Training (GSET) program in Victoria and Tasmania, Australia. She completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Advanced through Monash University. Subsequently she undertook the Doctor of Medicine MD, through the University of Melbourne Royal Melbourne Hospital Clinical School and gained Surgical Elective Experience through Harvard University at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She then completed post-graduate studies through a Diploma of Surgical Anatomy and Masters of Traumatology.
Currently she is studying the Masters of Surgical Education at the University of Melbourne and is acting as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Tasmania, Hobart Clinical School. She has been a volunteer with St John Ambulance since 2015 and is a clinical leader in this role. Dr Mansour has keen research interests in surgical education, simulation, robotic surgery, quality of life studies and in surgical quality assurance. Outside of the hospital, she is an artist and electric guitarist.
