Dr. Tarek Al-Hammouri Mr. Tarek Al-Hammouri is a Robotic Urology Surgeon, originally from Jordan, currently working at the University College London Hospitals. He is an Honorary Researcher at the Department of Targeted Intervention at University College London, UK. He is also an Honorary Researcher at Queen Mary University of London, Barts Cancer Institute, London, UK.
He moved to the UK in 2018 after completing his training years at The Specialty Hospital in Amman, Jordan. He worked as an associate specialist at Royal Berkshire Hospitals in Reading, UK. He went on to UCLH in 2019 to complete successive fellowship training in Focal therapy and Robotic Surgery.
Mr. Al-Hammouri is specialised in Prostate diseases, uro-oncology, focal and robotic radical surgery. He has been involved in several scientific papers published in peer-reviewed impact factor scientific journals, most notably and recently, was the iROC Trial published in JAMA in 2022.
His main professional and scientific interests focus on prostate cancer management, minimally invasive urologic surgery, training and education in surgery, patient-reported outcomes and healthcare management.
