I have spent my entire career at NYU Langone, including my residency and training in general and cardiothoracic surgery, and am now chief of clinical thoracic surgery. I am very proud of the team we have built here. We have achieved a three-star ranking from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons for the use of lobectomy to treat lung cancer for three years in a row, which reflects our expertise, the number of patients we treat, and our meticulous attention to detail.
